What's the problem?
Besides the importance of the individuals wellbeing, bad mental health is a major financial expense on a national scale.
In 2018 poor mental health cost the Danish society 110 billion DKK annually reported by OECD.
According to Vidensråd Danmark, every second Dane will experience mental health struggles and problems at some point in their life.
We wanted to change that.
The business case
We wanted NuHjælps users didn’t have to go out of pocket themselves to find the right help – which our user research had shown to be a cruicial obstacle for users seeking mental health ressources.
Our busniess model therefore became structured around this dilemma – while securing financial support through applications to multiple funding organisations, we developed a value proposition for therapists seeking clients—matching them with individuals aligned to their expertise and operating on a referral-fee basis.
Design Methodology
A good design process has room to be itterative, at the same time ensuring continuous progress.
On that basis I choose to use a double diamond design process, structuring the tasks through SPRINT’s and SCRUM.
