THE WHAT

NuHjælp was a free digital platform that helped users find the right therapist or mental health ressources, to their specific needs. It combines a curated therapist catalogue with filtering tools and a guided matching approach to translate complex personal requirements into clear, actionable choices.

THE WHY

NuHjælp was founded to address the gaps and shortcomings that exist in the system today, based on the idea that all people, regardless of social, cultural, or economic background, should have the opportunity to care for their mental and physical well-being. Our mission was to reach those who might otherwise fail the at times complex road to get the right mental health ressources, by acting as a bridge between professional practitioners and the people seeking them.

THE HOW

As design lead, I designed our logo, design manual, wireframes, MVP, coding of the SaaS product, intiated user workshops, gathered empirical data all while being SCRUM-master, organizing SPRINTS going methodically through a double diamond design process. When working in a startup, you carry many hats… But it was alright, because I loved it.
